Please join George Ann Carter and daughter Heather Pearson, Barb Litz, Shirley Cummins and others in attending the conference Amazing Freedom at the Rochester Blue Cross Arena on Friday, June 1st from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. (pre-conference) and 7 – 9 p.m. and/or Saturday, June 2nd from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. If we pre-register by March 23rd and have 10 or more participants, the cost is $45; otherwise, the cost is $55. Box lunches are available for purchase for $8, although lunches may be taken. Carpooling will be arranged by those of us attending.

World Day of Prayer

is an ecumenical day that has been led by women of the church for over 50 years.

It is scheduled each year for the first Friday in March. This year it is being led by the Church Women of Paraguay.

The Bible study reading is Ephesians 4:1-16.

Going to Seminary

Pam Doore is going to seminary at a Methodist seminary in Ohio, beginning mid-January. She will enroll in a two-year Master of Religious Education program to prepare for service as a Christian educator. Please wish her well as she leaves and pray for her while she is at school.
